This sculpture intends to capture a brief moment of utter bewilderment, uncharacteristic of the fictional cavalier Don Quixote. This humorous scene could very easily be the chapter that Cervantes forgot to write. Universally human, the sculpture invites the passersby to warmly laugh at Quixote’s perplexity and, perhaps, to identify with his quandary.
